It didn't pick up my fart
Hold the phone a little closer (pants on, please) and check FartTracks is allowed to use the microphone in your phone's settings.
How do I add friends?
Sign in on the Friends tab, then type your mate's username under Friends. They'll get a request to accept.
Who can hear my farts?
Only you, until you post one, send one to a friend, or share a playlist. Even then, only your accepted friends can hear them.
Someone posted something they shouldn't have
Tap Flag on it. Three flags hides it straight away. You can also block that person from the Flag menu or their Friends entry, and email us so we can look into it.
Getting my farts back on a new phone
Sign in with the same email and everything you've backed up comes back, playlists included.
Deleting your FartTracks account
Steps: open FartTracks, go to the Friends tab, tap Friends, scroll to Your account, tap Delete my account, and type DELETE to confirm. Can't get into the app? Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we'll delete it for you within 7 days.
What's deleted: your account and email address, your username and fart name, every backed-up fart and its audio, your playlists, your friends list and friend requests, your comments, scores and reactions, your alerts, and any flags or blocks you made.
What's kept: nothing on our servers. Farts saved on your own phone stay on your phone until you bin them or delete the app. Deleted data is removed straight away, though copies can remain in our hosting provider's encrypted backups for up to 30 days before they're overwritten.
Deleting some of your data without deleting your account
A fart: in Library, tap ... on the fart and choose Bin it. It's deleted from your phone and from our servers, along with its comments, scores and reactions.
Stop friends hearing a fart but keep it: tap ... and choose Take down from friends.
A playlist: open it and tap Make private, or remove its farts. A comment: tap Delete next to it.
Anything else, such as your fart name or email address: email [email protected] and we'll change or delete it within 7 days. Deleted data is removed straight away, with backup copies overwritten within 30 days.
